The opinion of the wine tasterA nice Saint-Joseph coated in velvety tannins, with light woody touches and notes of peony. This bottle will be a nice surprise if you will taste it in some years !
The terroirThe AOC designation Saint-Joseph is located in the north of the Rhone Valley. The soil is granitic. The terraced vineyard benefits from a south sun exposure that allows grapes to mature and prosper at sun.
The grape variety100% syrah, variety that produces noir-blueish coloured grapes with a sweet and spicy juice.
The 2010 was a good year for the Rhone Valley. The weather during the summer and the harvest period was hot and dry. This allowed the grapes to come to a perfect maturity and to keep all their juice. Wines are rich and fruity.
